Our Process
How to work with R&F
Step 1: The Consultation
It starts with a conversation. We’ll meet via video call or in our NE Minneapolis studio to discuss your vision, hopes, and budget. Once we understand exactly what you need, we’ll get to work tailoring a plan just for you.
Step 2: The Custom Proposal
We’ll put together a comprehensive design proposal complete with detailed pricing, mood boards, and specific floral and decor recommendations so you can truly visualize your day. Already have favorite vendors in mind? No problem! We love collaborating and will seamlessly work them into the plan.
Step 3: We Get to Work
Once everything is confirmed, we tackle your to-do list step-by-step based on the services you booked:
Planning & Coordination: We’ll guide you through booking vendors and making key decisions, keeping you on track right up to the wedding. If you prefer to plan it yourself, we’ll step in 1–2 months out to finalize details and take over communication. You’ll also get access to a personalized online portal that will help keep things on track.
Design & Florals: Our collaborative design process kicks off about six months out with venue walkthroughs. At 6–8 weeks, we hold a final details meeting and provide visual mockups of your blooms and rentals so there are absolutely no surprises!
Step 4: Your Day
When the big day finally arrives, your only job is to pop the champagne. Whether we are managing the timeline or bringing your floral mockups to life, we handle the heavy lifting - from delivery and setup to seamless room flips and late-night teardown. We sweat the details so you can step back and truly revel in the moment.

This is the most common question we get! A venue coordinator works for the venue—their job is to make sure the lights are on, the bathrooms are stocked, and the building is secure. Our Day-of Coordinator works for you. We manage your personal timeline, cue the wedding party, coordinate with all your other vendors (photographers, DJs, caterers), and handle any behind-the-scenes hiccups so your family doesn't have to.

To make sure we're available to bring your vision to life, here is our ideal booking timeline:
Wedding Planner: Jump on this right after you get engaged! We recommend securing your planner 6 to 18 months before your wedding day.
Wedding Florist: Booking 6 months in advance is typical. However, if you have your heart set on working with us, the earlier you reach out, the better so we can lock in your date!

Yes - we consider both Wedding Management, an incredible package that covers both month-of and day-of coordination. We’ll jump in a month before the wedding to polish off your timeline, and on your big day, our lead and assistant planners will be on-site for up to 10 hours to make sure every single moment is pure perfection!
